Although this tribute will not be open to the public, it will be available for streaming, showcasing contributions from several Church leaders and The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.

A public viewing will take place on Monday, October 6, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. This event welcomes attendees of all ages to pay their respects.

October 7: Public Funeral Services

The funeral service for President Nelson is set for Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 12 p.m. MDT, held in the Conference Center on Temple Square. This service is open to the public for attendees aged 8 and older, requiring tickets that will be available online starting October 2 at 10 a.m.

The building doors will open at 10:30 a.m., and attendees are expected to be seated by 11:30 a.m. The service will also be broadcast globally, ensuring that members and admirers worldwide can participate.

The service will feature multilingual broadcasts, including American Sign Language, various European and Asian languages, enhancing accessibility for diverse audiences.

A Remarkable Legacy

President Nelson passed away peacefully at his home in Salt Lake City. His 101 years were filled with devoted service, making him the 17th president in the notable 195-year history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had been leading the Church since January 14, 2018, leaving behind a legacy of faith and inspiration.
