Söyüncü’s plane landed at Atatürk Airport around 2:30 am, where he was greeted by Fenerbahçe executive Selahattin Baki and a small group of fans. Speaking to the press at the airport, Söyüncü expressed his gratitude to the Turkish people and expressed hope for a successful championship.

“Turkish people have had my back for years, and I’ve done my part. There’s not much to say. I have a good relationship with all our friends in Turkey. Hopefully, we’ll finish with a good championship,” he said.
