After spending seven seasons with the Seattle Mariners, Moore was released earlier this month and has now been promoted to the active roster, stepping in for shortstop Corey Seager, who is currently on the injured list following an appendectomy.

Despite a challenging season, where he posted a .193 batting average and a career-worst 35% strikeout rate in 88 games, Moore believes he can regain his form. Historically, he has been an above-average hitter, boasting a .715 OPS in three consecutive seasons prior to this year.

In his debut against the Athletics, Moore made an immediate impact, hitting a run-scoring single in his first at-bat and later transitioning to second base as the game progressed. His versatility, having played nearly every position except left field and catcher, will be invaluable to the Rangers, especially with several key players sidelined due to injuries.
